In the 1987 Masters, Augusta native found himself in a playoff with two giants, Seve Ballesteros and Greg Norman.

After the first hole Seve was eliminated, on the second playoff hole Larry put his tee shot into the bunker 140 feet from the pin, so Norman played conservative thinking a par could win. That's when the magic of the Masters Happened and Larry Mize chipped in to make a birdie and win his first and only major!
